This past weekend’s event at the Apex produced several talking points but very few positives.
There were multiple fighters who were heavily criticized for their performances at UFC Vegas 105 this past Saturday night.
Even Lerone Murphy was forced to defend his approach after going five rounds with Josh Emmett in the biggest fight of his career to date.
Not even the commentary booth was safe with Michael Bisping receiving pushback to his performance on the night and now that the dust has settled, a member of the roster has departed.
Whilst the likes of Ode Osbourne were able to record big wins under pressure to keep their dreams alive, the same cannot be said for everyone.

Diana Belbita announces her departure from the UFC after 8 fights inside the Octagon
Diana Belbita has parted way with the UFC after being submitted by Dione Barbosa at UFC Vegas 105.
Her opponent secured her first performance of the night bonus in her third outing inside the Octagon after locking up an arm triangle choke in the first round.
Belbita debuted in the UFC back in October of 2019, arriving with a pro record of 13-4 having previously competed in Polish promotion KSW.
She lost her debut to Molly McCann before suffering a second consecutive loss against Liana Jojua the following year.
‘The Warrior Princess’ ended her run inside the Octagon with a record of 2-6, winning two unanimous decisions before a three fight losing streak, which included losses to Karolina Kowalkiewicz and a rematch with McCann, brought things to a close.
Some have stated that the following post on social media implies that Belbita is retiring from MMA for good rather than just leaving the UFC but that isn’t clear at this time.
“It was fun fighting at the highest level. I never even dared to dream that I will get there, But I ended up spending my last 6 years fighting for the best promotion in the world. It was a fun journey and I loved it. Now it’s time for me to start a new chapter.”
Diana Belbita posted about Molly McCann’s retirement last month
The only opponent that Diana Belbita shared the cage with one two occasions was Liverpool’s Molly McCann.
After McCann’s retirement in London last month, both women served as bookends for each other’s runs in the promotion with Belbita posting the following message when her former foe called time.
At just 28-years-old, Belbita still has a lot of time on her hands if she does want to continue competing outside of the UFC.
She may have struggled to find her feet at the highest level but ‘The Warrior Princess’ was riding a four-fight win streak before she collided with ‘Meatball’ for the first time in Boston.
