Colby Covington has a big admirer in award-winning actress Megan Fox.
UFC star Colby Covington is disliked and even hated by many in the MMA community. But one of his biggest fans is an outsider, as evidenced by alleged direct messages he leaked in a recent conversation with streamer N3on.
Covington’s villainous persona has divided fight fans during his career. But it’s also led to a profitable UFC run, including title fights against Kamaru Usman and Leon Edwards.
While Covington has stirred up several controversies during his UFC tenure, he’s also accumulated several loyal fans, including U.S. President Donald Trump. But Covington has also attracted several female admirers, including award-winning actress Megan Fox.

Colby Covington: Megan Fox called me her ‘favorite UFC bad guy’
In a recent collab with N3on, Covington explained how he and Fox linked up in a recent direct-message exchange.
“My whole life, the baddest b—-, I always thought it was Megan Fox. That was the girl,” Covington said. “After one of my fights, she messaged me, dude. She was just like, ‘Colby, you’re my favorite UFC bad guy.’ I went from f—–g idolizing her, thinking she’s beautiful, she’s in my DMs first.” (h/t Men’s Journal)
After N3on pressed Covington to share what Fox said, the polarizing UFC star obliged.
“Rooting for you tonight. You are my favorite UFC bad guy since Chael [Sonnen],” Covington read.
“It’s probably hard to keep that character all the time when you are naturally a more sensitive, sweet person. It’s worth it. You are so funny and talented. You deserve to be a superstar.”
Covington is looking to get back into the welterweight title mix after a loss to Joaquin Buckley in December. He’s lost three of his last four fights overall, with the lone victory during the stretch coming against former teammate Jorge Masvidal at UFC 272.

Colby Covington got into it with a UFC 314 winner backstage in viral incident
Covington caused a stir backstage at UFC 314 in Miami last weekend, getting into an altercation with Paddy Pimblett during one of the latter’s post-fight interviews. Covington and Pimblett have gone at it in various interviews in recent weeks, with Covington going as far as ‘warning’ Pimblett about a future run-in.
Pimblett has previously teased a move to welterweight to fight the likes of Conor McGregor, Covington, and others as he nears the lightweight title picture. His win over Michael Chandler at UFC 314 moved him into the title shot discussion.
Covington’s one-time rumored opponent, Ian Machado Garry, took Pimblett’s side in the backstage incident, saying Pimblett handled it ‘perfectly’. Covington and Garry were briefly linked to a fight at UFC 303 last June, but a booking never materialized.
As Covington moves closer to a potential UFC return, he’ll continue to have his fair share of haters, but Fox clearly isn’t one of them.
