Brock Lesnar could have a huge challenge on his hands, with a boxing legend recently firing shots in his direction.

While the former UFC heavyweight world champion hasn’t competed since his fight with Mark Hunt back in 2016, the appetite for his return remains rife among fans.

However, while Tom Aspinall thinks Lesnar could beat Alex Pereira, the icon could head in an entirely different direction.

With a challenge now firmly on the table, the MMA community now awaits to see if the ex-WWE title holder rises to the occasion.

Butterbean calls out Brock Lesnar for a heavyweight showdown

Butterbean would love nothing more than to get his hands on Brock Lesnar in a monster collision between two massive names.

In recent times, the boxer has struggled with health issues, tipping the scales at 515lbs. He told Undisputed: “I was in a dark place. I was in a wheelchair for three years. I couldn’t walk.”

However, in a testament to his ferocious fighting heart, he’s dropped down to 290lbs, claiming: “I can’t remember the last time I was this small.”

Despite undergoing two hip replacements, Butterbean still possesses a desire to push himself, with the fan favorite scheduled to have a wrestling match with Minoru Suzuki at WrestleCon’s Mark Hitchcok Memorial SuperShow on April 17, during WrestleMania weekend in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA.

But while that whets his appetite, he’s even more determined to box again, with one particular opponent in mind.

He enthused: “I really want to fight Brock Lesnar–I would knock him out.”

Butterbean added: “Look at me–I wasn’t even walking, and now I’m back doing what I love to do. If you believe in yourself, you can accomplish anything. I live by that. And wait until you see what I do next.”

Brock Lesnar reveals the most frustrating thing about losing to Frank Mir

While Butterbean is significantly older than Lesnar, he’s undoubtedly more experienced in the squared circle, meaning the younger man would have to approach a potential bout with caution.

After all, he’s been humbled before, with the powerhouse admitting that his loss to Frank Mir was tough to take.

On February 2, 2008, inside the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA, the wrestler was submitted via kneebar.

Now, Lesnar has revealed the most annoying thing about his defeat to Mir.
