Bryce Mitchell is no longer losing sleep over Jean Silva.
The UFC Featherweight contender seems to have his wits about him this fight week in Miami, Florida. In a matter of days, Mitchell will meet Brazilian standout Jean Silva on the pay-per-view portion of UFC 314 on Saturday.
In the main event, Alexander Volkanovski and Diego Lopes collide for the vacant featherweight title.
Mitchell vs. Silva is one of the more highly-anticipated matchups on the card or should we say grudge match as the fighters have went off on each other at two press conferences now, Mitchell claiming in the past he was cursed with ‘demonic dreams’ because of his opponent.
The featherweights continued their spat on Thursday with Silva trying to keep his momentum from the last presser going.

Bryce Mitchell plays along with Jean Silva’s retirement threats
At UFC 314 media day on Wednesday, Silva had mentioned he’ll send Mitchell into retirement with the brain damage he’s ought to sustain this weekend.
Silva looks for his 13th-career knockout, wanting to put Mitchell down to the canvas like last week’s headliner Josh Emmett did – in brutal fashion.
“I was born with brain damage, brother,” Mitchell said of Silva’s retirement threats.
The crowd erupted in laughter.
“I’ll be alright,” Mitchell said.
Mitchell bounced back from convulsions in a KO loss with a knockout of his own last December at UFC 310 when he slammed Kron Gracie to the mat.
Bryce Mitchell plans to put down barking Jean Silva
Later in the press conference, Jean Silva tried to rile up the Miami crowd with a chant of barks, on the count of 1-2-3. A frequent barker himself, Silva was unimpressed with how little barks there were.
That’s when Mitchell stole the show with a one-liner.
“I put a lot of dogs down in my day,” Mitchell responded as the crowd roared for him.
“Those dogs that like to come up to the farm. They kill my animals. They come to harm me and my family and come barking.
“You know what they all got in common?” Mitchell asked.
“They squeal right before they die,” Mitchell set the microphone as Silva smiled on.
