It’s safe to say that Conor McGregor is fired up about the latest Bare Knuckle FC roster addition.
UFC superstar Conor McGregor has made a huge impact on Bare Knuckle FC in his young ownership tenure, as further evidenced by the promotion’s latest roster addition.
BKFC made a splash this week when it announced the signing of former UFC title challenger Jessica Eye, who retired from MMA in 2022, to its women’s division. Eye is expected to make her promotional debut later this year against a to-be-determined opponent.
Eye is the latest former UFC standout to make the move from MMA to bare-knuckle boxing in recent years. Mike Perry, Luke Rockhold, and Jeremy Stephens are just a few standout names who have featured in the BKFC ring.

Conor McGregor issues detailed welcome message to Jessica Eye after BKFC signing
McGregor’s superstardom has attracted many top talents to the ring, including his former UFC 205 opponent Eddie Alvarez. The Eye signing is a big get for BKFC, which is in desperate need of strong female talent to add depth to its roster.
While many big-name talents have signed with BKFC in recent months, McGregor’s excitement for Eye is at another level, as he demonstrated on social media.
In a recent post to X, McGregor welcomed Eye to BKFC.
“She is in phenomenal physical condition! The best I’ve ever seen her and I have shared many a card with her over the years. Look at her big bare fists and magnificent musculature!” McGregor said of Eye. “We are very happy to have “Evil” Eye at BKFC!
“We have high hopes for her and she will be well looked after!”
Eye walked away from MMA after a loss to Maycee Barber at UFC 276. She defeated the likes of Katlyn Chookagian, Jessica Rose-Clark, and Viviane Araujo inside the Octagon.
Details surrounding Eye’s BKFC debut are expected to be announced in the coming weeks. A potential matchup with former UFC star Paige VanZant is an option for Eye’s first BKFC opponent.
As Jessica Eye’s retirement ends, Conor McGregor retirement speculation continues
In the meantime, McGregor made headlines last week when he teased a potential retirement from MMA during a BKFC press conference. McGregor hasn’t fought in the UFC Octagon since injuring his leg against Dustin Poirier at UFC 264.
While his MMA comeback is in doubt, McGregor has teased a potential return to fighting in the BKFC ring, potentially against Perry or another top name. Stephens, who faces Mason Jones at UFC Des Moines later this year, called out McGregor following his recent BKFC victory over Alvarez.
Perry is in talks to face UFC Hall of Famer Robbie Lawler in his BKFC return later this year, but the UFC will need to grant Lawler the green light to finalize negotiations. Lawler retired from MMA after a win at UFC 290.
It’s an exciting time to be a bare-knuckle boxing fan, and Eye’s signing adds another boost to the BKFC roster as the promotion continues to grow.
