‘The Mac’ was never going to miss the chance to sink a couple of pints on Saint Patrick’s Day in Ireland.
Conor McGregor is still actively involved in the fight game through BKFC where he’s regularly in attendance for events as a part-owner of the promotion.
However, the days of seeing ‘The Notorious’ compete look to be behind us with McGregor recently admitting that he’s happy with what he accomplished in his career.
One thing that is for certain about the former UFC champ-champ is that he doesn’t need to fight in order to make money as a recent purchase of McGregor’s showed.
The writing has been on the wall regarding his fighting career for some time, partly because of the regular videos of ‘The Mac’ enjoying life and partying on a fairly regular basis rather than living the life of a professional athlete.

In a recent video put out by the Nelk Boys on YouTube, the gang headed to Ireland where their paths crossed with Conor McGregor.
Their plan was always to get some partying in with ‘The Notorious’ after spending some time with the former UFC superstar at Donald Trump’s inauguration.
The video starts with them picking a random winner for a $10,000 giveaway with the lucky recipient conveniently living in Belfast, Ireland.
With the Boys already heading to Dublin that very same day, they offered to deliver the money in cash if the winners could meet them in the Irish capital.
The trip also happened to coincide with Saint Patrick’s Day meaning that their goal of ticking partying with McGregor off of the bucket list had a good chance of happening.
They arrived at McGregor’s pub, The Black Forge Inn, where the celebrations resumed immediately with the Irishman taking photos, pouring pints, drinking shots and even singing a rendition of Robbie Williams’ ‘Angels’.
McGregor’s partying with the Nelk Boys is fairly harmless but it does provide further evidence that competing is low on his list of priorities right now.
Fight fans are split on the latest video of Conor McGregor partying
This certainly isn’t the first or likely the last time that there will be video footage of Conor McGregor drinking and partying in his own time.
Fight fans have had a somewhat mixed reaction to the video on social media with some being happy for ‘The Notorious’ after what he has accomplished whilst others don’t approve of the person that he has become.
“I f—— love it… man worked his whole life… reached the pinnacle… now doing whatever he wants. Go get it my man,” wrote one fan in support of McGregor.
Another response summarized why a lot of fans don’t have the same reaction, claiming that, “Old Conor would hate this new Conor”.
