Conor McGregor was in attendance at BKFC Dubai this past Friday evening when a fan allegedly attempted to attack him following the event.

Conor McGregor is never far away from the headlines, and he has recently been making the news after hinting that he could be done fighting in the UFC.

The Irishman hasn’t fought since 2021, when he brutally broke his leg at the end of round one during his trilogy fight against Dustin Poirier.

McGregor has admitted that he will likely take a step back from fighting as he shifts his focus to the Irish Presidential election, which he has claimed he will be running for.

Fan left bloodied after attempting to attack McGregor at BKFC Dubai

Despite having not stepped into the ring to compete himself for four years, ‘The Notorious’ has continued with his promotional work with BKFC.

This past Friday, the promotion landed in Dubai for the first time ahead of their two-day event. On day one, two title fights topped the event, which also included a fight from a UFC veteran.

Aleksei Olenik made his debut in the BKFC ring and was left unconscious on the floor after suffering an extremely brutal knockout.

However, the action in the ring wasn’t the only action of the night, as after the event, a fan allegedly attempted to attack McGregor while he was signing things for fans in the stands.

In a video that has gone viral on social media, McGregor’s security team quickly pounced on the alleged attacker, and the former UFC double champion was swiftly moved away from the ruckus.

The camera then pans to the fan who started the melee, and his face was left dripping with blood after McGregor’s security team landed a big punch.

Conor McGregor and the next big thing in MMA embrace during first meeting

In attendance at the event was PFL star Dakota Ditcheva. The Brit won the women’s flyweight tournament last year, taking home the $1m prize fund and catapulting herself into superstardom.

‘Dangerous’ Ditcheva has been widely touted as the next big star in MMA, and fans have continuously called for the UFC to do everything it can to sign her to the premier promotion.

On Friday, Ditcheva was in attendance at BKFC in Dubai, and a video of her and McGregor embracing in their first meeting found its way onto social media.

During their conversation, McGregor seemingly tells Ditcheva: “You’re the next big thing baby.”
