Dillon Danis vs. Mike Perry in MMA? That’s news to Danis.
Last weekend, grappling star Danis was scheduled to face KSI in his second boxing match in Manchester, England. Danis had withdrawn from a previous booking in 2023 but this time it was on KSI who postponed the bout due to an illness.
This is where former UFC fighter, current BKFC superstar Mike Perry comes in.
‘Platinum’ Perry has had his eye on Dillon Danis for some time now, even facing off with him before he boxed and lost to Jake Paul by round 6 TKO last summer.

Mike Perry says he was offered MMA fight with Dillon Danis
On Monday, Perry revealed on The Ariel Helwani Show he received a short-notice offer to face Danis in a MMA bout under the Misfits banner.
“KSI is out,” Perry said.
“Dillon Danis wants to fight MMA. I’m saying yes, but we gotta see…
“If they want to make the fight happen, let’s do it.”
Perry said the fight could take place as early as April, before Danis’ GFL debut against Ferguson.
“I’ll just stop them takedowns. He’s gonna have to pull guard and I got some ground and pound,” Perry added.

Training for a different opponent altogether in the legendary ‘El Cucuy’, his first MMA fight in six years, Danis responded to Perry’s comments regarding a potential fight between them.
“Is it weird I never heard anything about this,” Danis wrote of Perry’s offer on X.
A free agent since leaving Bellator MMA in Oct. 2023, the 2-0 Danis has been approached with multiple fight offers over the years, eventually signing with the GFL in January.

Perry, 33, is a 15-fight UFC veteran with BKFC wins over Luke Rockhold, Eddie Alvarez, Michael ‘Venom’ Page and more. ‘Platinum’ hasn’t fought in MMA since 2021.
