Fans want to see a 41-fight veteran call it a career after watching him lose at UFC 314.

Darren Elkins was on wobbly legs for the vast majority of his first-round TKO loss on Saturday night.

Julian Erosa caught him with an up kick early, and ‘Damage’ was never able to regain his senses.

The 40-year-old was battered around the Octagon until his fight was waved off with 45 seconds left of the first round.

UFC fans beg Darren Elkins to retire

Elkins spent several minutes getting beaten up by Erosa while already rocked at UFC 314.

For many people who saw it, the American’s latest loss was a sign that he should retire from MMA.

“Ekins should RETIRE!! ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!!!,” one fan said. While another asked: “Anyone in Elkins family wanna tell him to retire or just watch him get CTE?”

“This one was hard to watch, guys! Please retire Elkins A.S.A.P,” a third fan added.

“Elkins needs to retire. Poor guy,” someone else commented.

“It’s time to retire for Darren Elkins!!!!” another X user declared.

“Elkins, please retire. You’re too tuff. Time to move on to bigger and better things,” a sixth fan wrote.

Darren Till chimes in on Darren Elkins retirement talk

Former UFC middleweight contender Darren Till watched the latest big-time MMA show at home.

‘The Gorilla’ shared his concern for Elkins in a message to Daniel Cormier following UFC 314.

“UFC level of striking last night was abysmal,” Till tweeted.

“Darren Elkins should literally be in a retirement home.

“Why is he still in the Octagon @dc_mma?”

Elkins put together a two-fight win streak by beating T.J. Brown and Daniel Pineda before UFC 314.

It’s currently unclear if he agrees with Till and the fans who believe it’s time for him to retire from fighting.
