Jake Hadley just produced something truly special.
After seven fights in the UFC, the Englishman was released from his contract with the MMA promotion.
However, while one door has closed, another has opened, with the fighter jumping straight into the bantamweight PFL 2025 World Tournament.
Last night, inside Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida, USA, Hadley cruised to the semi-finals.

Jake Hadley pulls off an insane Scottish Twister in the PFL 2025 World Tournament quarter-finals
With his UFC career firmly in the rearview mirror, Jake Hadley was intent on hitting the ground running in his first fight in the PFL.
With the opportunity to move a step closer to winning an enormous cash prize of $500,000, the warrior was willing to do everything in his power to beat Matheus Mattos.
The PFL season has been spectacular so far, with Thad Jean landing a vicious left hook to secure his semi-final spot in the welterweight tournament.
However, what Hadley just achieved was even more impressive.
In the third round, ‘White Kong’ secured the takedown and sunk in a body triangle. With a twister on his mind, the fighter moved dangerously close to getting the submission, before seemingly losing the position.
However, in reality, things couldn’t have gone any better for Hadley, who successfully got the tap with a sublime Scottish twister to send the crowd into raptures.
Jake Hadley advances to the PFL 2025 World Tournament: Semi-finals
With his first win out of the way, the 28-year-old is well on the way to claiming the PFL world title.
On June 20, 2025, Hadley will compete in the semi-finals at the INTRUST Bank Arena in Wichita, Kansas, USA.
However, advancing to the final won’t be an easy task, as the MMA star has a tough challenge ahead of him in the form of Marcirley Alves.
The Brazilian is a Bellator veteran, with a terrifying submission game. But having just pulled off a Scottish twister, Hadley won’t be scared of what his rival is bringing to the table.
