Joe Rogan has opened up about the moment his high school bully attacked him.
Having been around so many of the greatest fighters the world has ever seen, it’s rare that anyone can intimidate the analyst.
Usually, it takes someone as frightening as Yoel Romero to freak Rogan out.
However, during his youth, the future UFC commentator was terrified of another student.

While Joe Rogan doesn’t compete in mixed martial arts himself, he’s garnered enormous respect from the fighters, through his achievements in taekwondo and kickboxing.
However, he may never have walked into a gym in the first place, had he not wanted to develop the necessary skills to fend off a mean classmate.
In an episode of The Joe Rogan Experience, he explained: “One of the most humiliating fights I ever got into, there was never even a punch thrown. It was me, I was 14, and there was this kid in the locker room.
“I don’t remember what words were said, but we were standing in front of each other, and this is before I was even into martial arts, it’s one of the reasons that I got into it, this kid grabbed me in a headlock, threw me on the ground and was gonna punch me in the face, but then stopped and decided not to.
“He was so unconcerned that I could do something to him, that he just let me up. Then, I would avoid him. I would look down the hallway and open up the door to the outside breezeway, and I saw him on the other side, I’d be like, ‘I gotta go. I’ve got to keep away from that guy’.
“I was terrified of him.”

The experience with the high school bully changed Rogan’s life forever, with the American learning how to fight and growing in confidence.
Now, if anyone tries to mess with him, the podcaster can defend himself.
Therefore, when the striker found himself in a dangerous situation, he knew how to handle it.
