Joe Rogan had a brief but positive message for President Donald Trump as the pair reunited at cageside last night.

Rogan was on the call for an exciting night of action at UFC 314, and was greeted more warmly than any of the celebrities or dignitaries who met President Trump at the event. The pair are known to be friendly, and Trump likely credits the comedian’s podcast with helping him to reclaim the White House last year.

The president is a massive UFC fan, and is known to call promotional boss Dana White to discuss fights when he isn’t in attendance. He has also made their annual jaunt in Miami a fixture on his schedule, even keeping the booking after returning to the White House.

Joe Rogan’s six-word message to Donald Trump revealed in new footage of meeting

Every time that President Donald Trump attends a UFC event, the promotion roll out the red carpet in a major way. They even have him walk to his seat at cageside as if he were a fighter, allowing him to soak in the adoration of the crowd.

It was no different last night, as even after a difficult few weeks amid the controversy of his ongoing international tariffs he was greeted with a rapturous applause from the Florida crowd. The reaction isn’t too surprising; he won the state last year in a massive victory for his campaign.

The person he seemed most keen to meet with amid a crowd of thousands was commentator Joe Rogan. He made a beeline for the famed comedian and gave him a lengthy embrace, shaking his hand multiple times and hugging him.

And in a new angle of the meeting shared to X by White House Communications Advisor Margo Martin, Rogan can be heard telling President Trump: “I’m so happy for you, sir.”

Donald Trump was happy with UFC 314 main event decision

After the event, President Trump gave a brief news conference before boarding Air Force 1 to head back to the White House. He mocked the ‘fake news’ media who were asking him questions after initially asking their opinion on the event.

When asked how he felt about the judges scoring unanimously in favor of Alexander Volkanovski over Diego Lopes in the main event, he seemed to agree. “I thought it was great,” he said of the main event. “I thought they were all great fights.

“Have you ever witnessed that before? It’s something, right? Those are seriously tough people… I did, I thought he won Volkanovski… Every one of them [the fighters] came up at the end, they were all great, they’re all warriors, modern day warriors.”
