Kamaru Usman couldn’t hold back his laughter after finding out that Henry Cejudo’s stolen UFC belt has been put up for sale on eBay.

After an eventual last fight in the UFC in February where he suffered a fight-ending eye-poke, Henry Cejudo‘s April hasn’t gotten off to any better of a start.

Last week, the UFC double champion had to play neighbourhood superhero when he took down a suspect who drove into his neighbour’s house at what he said to be around 80mph.

The incident went viral on news channels in the United States, but unfortunately, that opened up a whole load of problems for ‘Triple C’.

Kamaru Usman laughs hysterically as Cejudo’s stolen UFC belt shows up on eBay

Following the incident involving his neighbor, because it went viral around the world and was on national news, Cejudo’s home address became more accessible to the public.

A few days later, unfortunately, the Olympic gold medalist’s house was broken into during the night, and the thief got away with one of Cejudo’s UFC titles.

Along with his UFC belt, thousands of dollars worth of camera equipment was stolen from him and his producer, Dylan Rush, who was asleep on the couch during the burglary.

During a recent episode of his Pound-for-Pound podcast with co-host Kamaru Usman, both former champions were made aware of a post circulating on X, showing Cejudo’s stolen belt up for sale on eBay.

“Are we looking at something on eBay right now? What? Hey, Henry, is this the belt that was stolen?” Usman asked Cejudo.

“Nah, is it?” Cejudo questioned.

“Henry Cejudo original UFC flyweight belt by DJMouse, when was that posted? Can we find out exactly when? 12 hours!” Usman replied as he began laughing hysterically.

“Nah, they’re f—— with us, they’re messing with us. They’re f—— with me,” Cejudo responded.

It seems as though the eBay listing is, in fact, fake, with the seller name DJMouse potentially referencing the fact that the belt that was stolen from Cejudo was the one that he won from Demetrious Johnson.

Henry Cejudo makes a plea to Dana White

The situation is an extremely unfortunate one for Cejudo, as he is unlikely to get his original title back following the burglary unless the thief is overcome with guilt and returns it.

However, the former UFC double champion has made a plea to UFC boss Dana White, asking if he can be sent another original UFC title and not a replica.

“Hopefully, I don’t know, man, I talked to Ali (Abdelaziz), and I want to see if he can talk to Dana to see if the UFC’s willing to give me (another belt). I don’t want a replica, the replicas are different. I want my actual belt,” Cejudo added.

This isn’t the first time Cejudo has lost one of his physical achievements, as in 2017, following wildfires in California, he also lost his original Olympic gold medal.
