Mike Tyson has broken his silence on Dana White entering the business of boxing.
The UFC boss flirted with launching a boxing promotion for years before finally taking the leap in March.
Dana White has joined forces with Turki Alalshikh to create a revolutionary new boxing league where the ‘best will fight the best’.
The MMA mogul’s move to boxing hasn’t been warmly welcomed, with Oscar De La Hoya the latest high-profile figure to aim a rant at Dana White, who has found an ally in heavyweight boxing legend, Mike Tyson.

Mike Tyson supports Dana White’s move to boxing
Mike Tyson has kept a relatively low profile since going eight rounds with Jake Paul in November.
Since then, the 58-year-old has bought a $13 million mansion and settled back into life as a retired fighter.
So, it was no surprise when he didn’t immediately speak about when White transitioned to boxing.
However, ‘Iron Mike’ has now backed his long-time pal to be a big success after previously claiming he is the best thing that could happen to the sport.
“I think he’s going to do a good job,” Tyson told Sports Illustrated.
“He’s not going to let the boxers take advantage of him.
“They all need that thing that they all need now, a trust fund.
“They’ll manipulate you.”
Dana White maps out his plan for boxing
White’s revolutionary plans for boxing have been met with mixed reactions from the fans.
Still, he is intent on pressing ahead with his vision after transforming the UFC into a multi-billion-dollar business.
“Ah, where do you begin?” White said soon after announcing his boxing move.
“Probably, you know, [making] the best fighting the best, I’d start there.
“Listen, my model is way different. Turki has things that he’s obligated to over the next 18 months…
“I want to break this sport down and build it from the ground up like we did with the UFC, so I’m on a different path.”
