Paddy Pimblett nearly got into a second fight immediately after his big win at UFC 314.

‘The Baddy’ brutalized Michael Chandler en route to a third-round TKO win in Miami on Saturday night.

Paddy Pimblett used his post-fight interview to try to set up a scrap with former lightweight champion Charles Oliveira.

However, he found himself squaring off with Colby Covington backstage at UFC 314.

Paddy Pimblett clashes with Colby Covington

Pimblett was in the middle of an interview when Covington began barking insults at him.

The former interim welterweight champion accused Pimblett of ‘fighting scrubs’ before things looked like they may get out of hand.

Covington was threatened with a ‘slap’ from the Englishman, who angrily walked towards the controversial American.

Ultimately, several members of security stopped them from getting close, but they continued to bark insults at each other until Covington was ushered away from the lightweight contender.

Do Paddy Pimblett and Colby Covington have beef?

Last year, Pimblett expressed his willingness to move up to 170lbs for a fight with Covington.

Since then, ‘Chaos’ has taken shots at Pimblett in several interviews. However, the Liverpudlian recently claimed that Covington didn’t have anything to say when they came face-to-face at a Power Slap event.

“We ended up going to Power Slap Friday night,” Pimblett said in a YouTube video he shared last month.

“Walked past Colby Covington, he stared at the floor.

“Talks a big game online, s—s his undies in person.”
