A fighter who looks like Paddy Pimblett dove for takedowns like UFC Champ Dricus du Plessis.
Frederic Vosgröne, an undefeated light heavyweight from Germany, went viral for his latest win over the weekend. On Saturday, Vosgröne entered his OKTAGON MMA debut against Jorick Montagnac.
Heel hooks and arm-triangles his signature submissions, the jiu-jitsu credentialed Vosgröne would waste no time in getting Montagnac down to the mat, taking him a few unrelenting tries to get there.
In the second round, Vosgröne tapped out Montagnac with an arm-triangle for his fourth submission in a row.
Though, the method of victory is hardly what the fans are talking about.

‘If Paddy Pimblett and Brock Lesnar had a child’ …
As you can see from the fight, Vosgröne boasts an incredible physique in the light heavyweight division.
Having long blonde hair, some fans compared Vosgröne’s look to UFC star Paddy Pimblett, others went with the massive former heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar.
“If paddy and Brock Lesnar had a child,” one fan wrote on Instagram.
“Paddy Pimblett on steroids,” another fan said of Vosgröne’s appearance
“I think this guy could wear the Thanos glove,” one fan commented.

To describe Vosgröne’s fighting style in one word, it’d be have to be ‘relentless’.
In the opening round, the German fighter wouldn’t let go of his opponent’s leg whenever he shot for a takedown. Instead, he hung on like how UFC Champion Dricus du Plessis did against Israel Adesanya at UFC 305, tripping him up.
Montagnac went down on a knee before hobbling away from the cage on one foot for several seconds. Montagnac eventually broke free and ran away from his opponent.
Despite it not working out the first time, Vosgröne tried it all over again, seizing Montagnac’s ankle on another takedown attempt.
“Bro is like a caveman that breathes grappling,” a fan wrote of Vosgröne on X. “Relentless, He dont even care whats coming back at him.”
