Paddy Pimblett has taken aim at an old rival, throwing verbal bombs in his direction.
On Saturday night, at UFC 314, inside the Kaseya Center in Miami, Florida, USA, ‘The Baddy’ will return to the cage in a massive showdown with Michael Chandler.
Throughout the build-up, the pair have traded insults. In a particularly enthralling piece of content, Pimblett and Chandler exchanged jibes during an entertaining joint interview.
However, while the Liverpudlian is fixated on his current opponent, he’s just rolled back the years by launching a verbal tirade against an old foe.

Paddy Pimblett fires brutal shots at Joe Giannetti
Paddy Pimblett was scheduled to go head-to-head with Joe Giannetti on November 22, 2019, at Cage Warriors 111, inside the Indigo at the O2 in London, UK.
Alas, the day before the clash, everything went wrong.
In a shocking moment, the American hit the scales at 163.8 lbs, missing the lightweight limit by almost 8 pounds.
Furious with the situation, Pimblett headed to social media to reveal the fight was cancelled.
He said: So what an eventful weigh-in. I step on the scales at 154.7 lbs like a true pro. My opponent then steps on the scales at 163.8 lbs and then sits down and starts eating and drinking immediately, didn’t even consider going in the sauna, when if he had gotten to 160lbs, all this could have been avoided.
“He starts screaming and shouting, saying he’s not getting in the sauna, are we gonna make him? Adam says to him, ‘Why are you rehydrating, you’ve still got weight to cut’? You could see he had more weight to lose, but purposely didn’t want to as to have an advantage come tomorrow night.
“It looks like the fight is going to be off, as he was unwilling to do any sort of compromise to make any sort of weight. All the best to Joe in the future, but my career is too important to get f—– over like this, but he’s known he was gonna miss and not batted an eyelid. Sorry people.”
While over five years have passed since the incident, Pimblett still holds a grudge against his old foe, recently mocking the caliber of shows his rival competes on.
In an episode of his podcast, Chattin Pony, he raged: “Giannetti turned up overweight, and Graham [Boylan], my manager, just went, ‘You’re not doing that fight’.
“I said, ‘I’ll still do it, I’m not a—-‘.”
His guest, Luke Riley, pointed out that his teammate’s opponent didn’t even try to lose the weight, to which Paddy replied: “He ended up saying, ‘No, I’m done’. I could’ve fought Alexander Jacobs, who Chris Fishgold had beaten defending his belt. So, I was like, ‘If he’s demolished him, imagine what I’d do to him’.
“I don’t really wanna fight him, I want a challenge. So, we said Giannetti. He was like, ‘You said no one else would fight you, I’ve taken this fight on two weeks’ notice’.
“He still talks about me now. Giannetti, you’re a sausage, just letting you know.”
When asked what the fighter is doing today, Pimblett replied: “I don’t know, lad, still fighting on regional shows. I still see him commenting on stuff, saying, ‘I’d beat him’. Get signed to the UFC, you little w——“
Arman Tsarukyan’s former rival scolds him for ‘looking for easy fights’ as Paddy Pimblett feud intensifies
Throughout his career, Pimblett has refused to shy away from a war of words.
Therefore, it comes as no major surprise that he’s recently gotten into an online feud with Arman Tsarukyan. However, while the Englishman is clearly annoyed at his fellow lightweight, he’ll likely be even more infuriated by what the Armenian’s former opponent had to say.
The individual in question, made some very strong comments about Tsarukyan’s back-and-forth with the Brit.
In a brutal slam, the UFC star branded Pimblett, an ‘easy fight’ and a clown’.
