Geordie Shore star Aaron Chalmers landed one of the most brutal stoppages of his career last night as he took off the gloves for the first time.

The popular reality TV sensation is a veteran of the fight game at this stage, making his MMA debut under the BAMMA banner before heading to Bellator. He then switched over to professional boxing, where he had fights for Wasserman and Misfits Boxing, as well as other influencer leagues.

His most famous fight came in February of 2023 when he went the distance with Floyd Mayweather in an exhibition at The O2 Area in London. Watching him ringside was fellow Mayweather rival Conor McGregor, who seemed impressed by his move to the squared circle.

Aaron Chalmers brutalizes rival in BKFC debut as he lands huge KO

Aaron Chalmers returned to the fight game on Saturday night in Dubai as he made his debut under Conor McGregor’s BKFC. He faced journeyman boxer Chas Symonds, and looked impressive early as he took on big shots and landed a knockdown of his own.

Chalmers was known as a hard hitter in his MMA days, landing two knockouts early and forcing submissions through his striking which dropped his rivals. And he showed that again as Symonds struggled to deal with his combinations and clean boxing style.

He made it through the first two rounds ad in the third landed a massive stoppage as the referee was forced to wave off Symonds’ efforts to get back up. The Brit has since called out his old rival Idris Virgo for a BKFC rematch.

In a series of Instagram stories after the fight, Symonds shared photos and videos of himself on a hospital bed receiving stitches and treatment for his injuries. He even noted that he needs to be ‘back to work’ tomorrow despite what happened on fight night.

“In hospital,” he wrote. Scans of my head, stitched up, ear cartilage rebuilt inside. FML [F— my life]. But I’m ok, need to get back to work tomorrow. I’m finne, people thank you. I will get back to your messages when I’m out of here.”

In a later video he claimed ‘it is what it is’, and likened himself to Rocky Balboa in the first film when he fought Apollo Creed. He also showed off the inside of his ambulance where doctors laughed with him and posed for photos.
